Hi Wondering if someone could help me, we are having a problem with users trying to send Print Screens into Word to send via an email. Basically when the user goes into the application and presses Print Screen (with ctrl or shift) and tries to go into word and paste, it does not work. Naturally, the next thing I tried was to install the native printer driver on the Citrix farm that the local Mac OS client uses and have it map the full-featured driver to their session printer. Providing the native driver doesn’t crash the print spooler on the Citrix server, ( Stress Printers, is your friend) which can happen if it’s a.
To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key, then release both keys. Mac menus and keyboards often use symbols for certain keys, including modifier keys:
On keyboards made for Windows PCs, use the Alt key instead of Option, and the Windows logo key instead of Command.
Some keys on some Apple keyboards have special symbols and functions, such as for display brightness , keyboard brightness , Mission Control, and more. If these functions aren't available on your keyboard, you might be able to reproduce some of them by creating your own keyboard shortcuts. To use these keys as F1, F2, F3, or other standard function keys, combine them with the Fn key.

Objective
This article describes how to customize keyboard shortcuts for menu items of the Receiver for Mac.
Background
Citrix Receiver for Macintosh requires substitution of special keys for certain commands from a Macintosh keyboard to be used properly within a remote Windows session. Refer to Citrix eDocs - Improving the user experience in Receiver for Mac for more information.
New versions of Macintosh keyboards might not contain certain keys that are used by default for substitution. For example, sending the INSERT key to a session requires the HELP key on the keyboard, which no longer exists on newer keyboards such as MacBook Air laptops.
The function key and other special keys can be used within a session using the Keyboard menu of the Receiver. This can become a cumbersome task if certain keys are used very frequently during daily tasks. Another option is to use the System Preferences of Mac OS X to create your own shortcut keys for specific functions available in the application menu of Receiver.
